Michael Keaton is an American actor producer and director best known for his performance in the film "Birdman. He's a versatile actor who is able to play comedic as well as dramatic roles. Through his professional career, the actor has performed a range of romantic roles, and has played in action films. He developed an interest in acting and performing while at the age of teen and tried his luck at stand-up comedy as an untrained young man. Though his comedic career failed, it was the foundation for his future acting career. In order to succeed in the field of comedy, he was offered a position as a cameraman with a local cable television station. It was while working there that he realized that really wanted to be present in front of cameras. After that, he was offered a TV performance, starring in several episodes of Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a naturally gifted actor who soon gained a lot of attention on TV. Aspired to be a star, he embarked on a film career and gained acclaim in comedy roles. His fame was further elevated by his portrayal of Batman in Tim Burton's Batman. The actor grew in his craft as time went on and delved into the direction and production worlds. His role in 2014's Birdman received him numerous nominations and award nominations.
